We were together for a year and a half before the wedding. His mood changed from sweet, loving fiance to "you're my wife, do what I say or I'll be the meanest person you've ever met." Turns out, he was an alcoholic and an addict. He would go thru my stuff and steal my anxiety meds and money. He would be drunk off his ass by the time I got home from work and would cry and tell me things from his past that he didnt tell me before we got married because he knew I would've left him if I had known (one thing was he tried to kill an ex's newborn baby for crying too much). We lasted 7 months. By then, I was so depressed and down, my only saving grace was my closes.
